Madhur Bhandarkar's film was turned down

Siddharth Malhotra did modeling for about 4 years before stepping into Bollywood. Meanwhile, Madhur Bhandarkar offered him the lead role in the film Fashion opposite Priyanka Chopra. But he refused to do this film. After this, Siddharth left modeling in the year 2009 and appeared in the TV show Dharti Ka Veer Yoddha Prithviraj Chauhan. After this show, Siddharth worked as a trainee assistant director in Karan Johar's My Name is Khan with Dharma Productions.
