Indians will get the opportunity to travel without a visa from next year i.e. January 2024. Kenyan President William Ruto said this on December 12, on the completion of 60 years of the country's independence.
He had announced this during one of his speeches. He said that this has been taken up to promote tourism in African countries.

Recently the Sri Lankan Cabinet had decided to give free visas to seven countries including India. Sri Lanka has started giving free visas to tourists from six countries including India, Russia, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan.
