Anant Chaturdashi is also called Anant Vrat. It is a major festival in Hindu religion which is celebrated by worshiping Lord Vishnu and fasting. This festival is celebrated on the Dwadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. This year the festival of Anant Chaturdashi is being celebrated on 29 September 2023.

Especially in North India, the infinite incarnations of Vishnu are worshiped on this day. Lord Vishnu is considered the sustainer of the universe. Whenever unrighteousness, untruth, and sin increase on earth, Lord Shri Hari incarnates. In Treta Yuga, Lord Vishnu incarnated as Maryada Purushottam Ram. In the Dwapar Yuga, Lord Shri Hari appeared in the form of Devkinandan Krishna.

The idol of Lord Venkateswara is installed in this temple located in Tirumala city of Andhra Pradesh. A large number of devotees come here from faraway places to visit the temple. Devotees coming here for darshan should book their transport and hotel in advance.

Jagannath Temple, Puri
Jagannath temple of Lord Vishnu is located in Puri, Orissa state. Jagannath Dham is one of the holy four Dhams of India. Here Lord Krishna is worshiped as Jagannath Ji. Along with them, statues of Shri Krishna's sister Subhadra and brother Balram are also present in this temple.

Srirangam Raja Gopala Swamy Temple
Srirangam Raja Gopala Swamy Temple in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu is an important temple of Lord Vishnu. This is the largest Tirupati in India. There is an idol of Lord Ranganath in the temple. A large number of people come to visit this temple, hence the temple remains crowded throughout the year.

Badrinath Temple
The Badrinath temple of Uttarakhand is a part of the Char Dham Yatra and is famous for the form of Shri Badrinath, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. There are also helicopter services to reach here. Badrinath temple built in the seventh-ninth century is located in Chamoli of the state. A one-meter-tall Shaligram idol of Lord Vishnu is installed here. It is believed that this is a self-manifested image.
