There are many ancient goddess temples and Shaktipeeths in India, which have many religious beliefs and ancient stories. However, the glory of the Goddess is not only in India but also abroad. Some of the 52 Shaktipeeths of the Goddess are established outside India. The body parts of Mata Sati fell at many places on earth, some became present in foreign countries far away from the Indian border, and later temples were established here. Goddess Shaktipeeth in Pakistan
There are many ancient Hindu temples in India's neighboring country Pakistan. There is also Devi Shaktipeeth here. There is Hingula Shaktipeeth in Balochistan, Pakistan, where Mata Hinglaj resides. It is believed that the head of Mother Sati had fallen at this place. This ancient Shaktipeeth is called Nani's temple or Nani's Haj.

Shaktipeeth in Sri Lanka
Indrakshi Shaktipeeth is located in Sri Lanka. Here in the Jaffna Nallur area, the mother is called by the name Indrakshi. It is said that the anklet of Mata Sati had fallen here. According to a legend, Lord Shri Ram, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Devraj Indra worshiped in this Shaktipeeth.

Three Shaktipeeths in Nepal
Aadya Shaktipeeth is located near the Gandak River in Nepal, where the left cheek of Mata Sati had fallen. Here Mother Sati is worshiped in the form of Gandaki.
The second Shaktipeeth in Nepal is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River at some distance from Pashupatinath temple, whose name is Guheshwari Shaktipeeth. It is said that both the knees of Mata Sati had fallen here.
The third Shaktipeeth is in Bijayapur village, where the teeth of Mata Sati had fallen in Dantkali Shaktipeeth.

Shaktipeeth located in Tibet
Tibet is situated near India, where the right palm of Mata Sati had fallen on the banks of river Mansarovar. Later Mansa Devi Shaktipeeth was established at this place.

Five Shaktipeeths in Bangladesh
After India, the highest number of Shaktipeeths are established in Bangladesh. There are five Shaktipeeths of Mata here. The first Ugratara is Shaktipeeth, where the nose of Mata Sati had fallen.
The second is Aparna Shaktipeeth, where the anklet of the left foot of Mata Sati had fallen.
There is Shrishail Shaktipeeth at a place named Shail in Sylhet district, where the neck of Mata Sati had fallen.
Apart from this, there is also Shaktipeeth in Chhatral on Chandranath mountain peak near Sitakund station in the Chittagong district of Bangladesh. The name of this ancient temple is Chattal Bhavani Shaktipeeth, where the right arm of Mata Sati had fallen.
The fifth Shaktipeeth is Yashoreshwari Mata Shaktipeeth, where the left palm of Mata fell and a Shaktipeeth is also said to be on the Khasi Mountains of Sylhet district, which is famous by the name of Jayanti Shaktipeeth. It is believed that the left thigh of Mother Sati had fallen here.
