The doors of the famous Kedarnath Dham of Uttarakhand have opened. People from far and wide come from far and wide every year to visit Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri, one of the famous four dhams of Uttarakhand. The doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri have opened from 22 April. At the same time, the doors of Kedarnath Dham opened on 25 April. Apart from this, the doors of Badrinath Dham Temple are opening from April 27. This season and chance are appropriate for the philosophy of these four holy dhams. Also, booking and registrations for Darshan have started. IRCTC has also released a tour package for the Char Dham Yatra. However, those who are going on the Char Dham Yatra or Kedarnath Yatra for the first time can be confused about the journey expenses, facilities, routes, and time in the journey. How many days Kedarnath Yatra
To go on Kedarnath Yatra, one has to take leave from the office. Kedarnath Dham can also go on weekends. You need three to four days for the Kedarnath Yatra. You can go by road, or rail route to Gaurikund. However, there is no road facility from Gaurikund to Kedarnath temple. There is an 18-kilometer walk track, where you may have to climb for 15–18 hours. A helicopter facility can also be available.

How to reach Kedarnath Dham
You can take a train, bus, or flight from Delhi or any city to Haridwar or Dehradun to go to Kedarnath. The distance from Delhi to Kedarnath is about 466 km. There is no direct rail facility for Kedarnath. You can reach Dehradun for less money than by bus or train. From here, Kedarnath can be reached via bus or helicopter. It may take a full day to reach Kedarnath from Delhi.

Helicopter booking for Kedarnath
If you do not have much time and are not able to climb on foot, then you can register for a helicopter from Dehradun to Kedarnath. IRCTC can book heli services at www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in. The passenger will have to fill in the journey date and slot time by selecting the heli operator company. The ticket amount will have to be paid online.

Expenditure for visiting Kedarnath Dham
Train or bus will provide tickets from Delhi to Dehradun from 300 to 1000 rupees. If you do a bus from Dehradun to Gaurikund, then it can range from 300 to 500 rupees. Bus service can also be provided directly from Delhi to Gaurikund, whose fare is 500-1000 rupees. If you are taking help service, then you will get a ticket of Rs 5498 from Sirsi, Rs 5500 from Phata to Kedarnath Dham, and Rs 7740 from Guptkashi. If the helicopter service is out of the budget, then the palanquin, horses from Gaurikund to Kedarnath can also be booked.
