Are you also going to use your car to travel somewhere during these holidays? You will have to keep some things in mind in this planning. Roma and his family are preparing to visit the village. Her village is not far from home, so Roma's husband Nilesh is saying "Let's go in our car only." But Roma does not want this, because last time she faced a lot of trouble in traveling because of children and luggage. On the other hand, Nilesh is adamant on going by car as he does not like to travel by public transport. Well, not only Nilesh, nowadays most people prefer private vehicles for travelling. In such a situation, it is important to keep some things in mind so that you do not face any problems while traveling.

The most important thing
Make sure to get your car serviced before leaving for the journey. If you have recently got the service done then make sure that there is no fault in it. You would not want your car to break down during your trip. Therefore, you should get it checked by a mechanic. Apart from this, be sure to check the air in the tires of the vehicle as well as the spare tire used in case of puncture and the cooling of the AC. You must also carry a puncture repair kit with you so that you do not get stranded in areas where there is a shortage of mechanics.

Need a map
Although today internet facility is available everywhere, due to which you do not have much trouble in finding your destination, but many times you are passing through such places where there is lack of internet connectivity. In such a situation, you should download and keep a map on your phone, so that you can use it offline also. You can also keep a paper map in the car.

Time is precious
If your journey is of 10-12 hours or less then start your journey between 5-6 am in the morning. Doing this gives you enough time to drive and you reach your destination before night falls. But if you do not like to travel during the day due to crowds, then keep in mind that the person driving must have had good and sufficient sleep.

Stuff doesn't bother you
Because of traveling in your vehicle, you also keep the things that you do not need, but this only causes trouble to you and you do not even get to sit comfortably. Therefore, keep only what is needed, but if there is still more stuff then keep it tightly tied in the trunk or top of the car.

Brake the car with yourself
After driving the car for two-three hours, take a break of 15-20 minutes. This will provide rest to your body along with the engine of the car and your blood circulation will remain balanced in the open air. During this time you can roam around a bit. To stay hydrated, you can stop and drink juice or coconut water.

Do not eat in the car
Often during such journeys, we carry our food with us and eat it in the car itself thinking that it will save time. But this is wrong and doing so can prove to be dangerous because sometimes food or water can get stuck in your throat due to sudden braking or bumpy road. Therefore, you should stop the car for some time and eat food in a dhaba or the car.
