The cave of Baba Barfani, one of the holiest places of Hinduism, has opened for devotees. Amarnath Yatra is starting from 29 June 2024. The first batch has left from Jammu for this holy pilgrimage of Baba Barfani, which will end by reaching the cave of Baba Barfani via a difficult route. This Shivling made of natural snow is also called Swayambhu Himani Shivling. This journey is considered to be very difficult. Devotees of Lord Bholenath can go here for darshan throughout the month of Sawan, which will conclude on Rakshabandhan.
However, given the difficulty of the journey, the health check-up of the pilgrims coming here is done, only after that the journey is allowed. Still, the devotees going on Amarnath Yatra should keep some things in mind beforehand. Go with full preparation, and keep in mind what to do and what not to do during the journey.
