India's neighboring country Sri Lanka has the famous Indrakshi Shaktipeeth of Goddess Mother. It is believed about this temple that the anklet of Mata Sati fell here. There is a mythological belief that, Devraj Indra and Lord Shri Ram also worshiped Goddess Mother in this temple.
Hingula Shaktipeeth in Pakistan
India's neighboring country Pakistan also has a famous Shaktipeeth of Mata. This is Hingula Shaktipeeth, which is located in Balochistan, Pakistan. This is a very ancient temple of Devi Maa, which is known as Hingula Shaktipeeth. It is believed that the head of Mata Sati fell here. This temple is also known as Nani's temple or Nani's Haj.
Mansa Shaktipeeth of Tibet
There are many religious places of Hindus in Tibet located close to India. One of these is Mansa Shaktipeeth. Mansa Devi Shaktipeeth located on the banks of Mansarovar river is known for its miraculous powers. It is believed that the right palm of Mata Sati fell here.
Three Shaktipeeths are located in Nepal
There are not one or two but three Shaktipeeths of Mata located in Nepal. The first is Aadya Shaktipeeth, which is located on the banks of Gandak river in Nepal. It is believed that the left cheek of Mata Sati fell here. The Gandaki form of Mata is worshipped here. The second Shaktipeeth is Guheswari Shaktipeeth- It is located on the banks of the Bagmati river at some distance from the Pashupatinath temple. It is believed that both the knees of Mata Sati had fallen here. The third Shaktipeeth is Dantkali Shaktipeeth- This Shaktipeeth is located in Bijayapur village of Nepal. It is said that the teeth of Mata Sati had fallen here, due to which the Dantkali form of Mata is worshipped here.
Many Shaktipeeths are also located in Bangladesh
Many temples of Hindus are also located in Bangladesh, the neighboring country of India. There are many Shaktipeeths here as well. The first is Ugratara Shaktipeeth, the second is Aparna Shaktipeeth and the third is Shrishail Mahalakshmi Shaktipeeth. It is believed that the nose of Mata Sati had fallen at this place in the Ugratara Shaktipeeth located on the banks of Sunanda river. Aparna Shaktipeeth is in Bhavanipura village of Bangladesh, about which it is said that the anklet of the left foot of Mata Sati had fallen here and the third is Shrishail Mahalakshmi, which is at a place named Shail in Sylhet district. It is said that the neck of Mata Sati fell here. Apart from this, Chattal Bhavani, Yashoreeshwari Mata Shaktipeeth and Jayanti Shaktipeeth are also located in Bangladesh.
