If all the family friends and cousins are gathering on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, then you can take a trip to some exciting place. The trip to Rishikesh in Uttarakhand can be completed in a day. A day before the night train leaves for Haridwar or Dehradun, which will take you to your destination by morning. Aarti can be performed in Rishikesh in the morning after bathing on the banks of the Ganges. After celebrating Rakhi, you can enjoy river rafting, camping, or trekking.

Udaipur
For a day off on Rakshabandhan, you can visit Udaipur city of Rajasthan. Brothers and sisters can have a good time in Udaipur, famous as the 'City of Lakes'. On boat outings here, the sunset view from Monsoon Palace is very enjoyable.
