Ganpatipule Beach

Ganpatipule Beach surrounded by lush green trees is one of the most famous places in Ganpatipule. The tourists coming here first come to visit this place. Jaigarh Fort
After Ganpatipule Beach, most of the tourists reach Jaigarh Fort. Spread over an area of about 13 acres along the beach, this fort offers many amazing views. Jaigarh Fort is especially preferred as a photography destination. This fort and its surrounding places are also famous as picnic points by the local people. Velneshwar Temple and Beach
Velneshwar temple and beach are about 72 km from Ganapatipule. It is located at Velneshwar in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. It is an ancient temple representing the traditional Hindu architectural style.

Swayambhu Ganpati Temple
The Swayambhu Ganapati Temple, a 400-year-old Ganesha temple, is made of a bridge that is only white sand. It is believed to be a self-made monolith of Lord Ganesha which was found 1600 years ago. The temple is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. The temple is situated at the base of a small hill, and pilgrims consider the area around the hill, which is shaped like a Ganesha, extremely sacred.

Konkan Museum
The Konkan Museum, officially called the Ancient Konkan Museum, is within walking distance from the Ganapatipule beach or bus stand. This museum was built by Vaibhav Sardesai in the year 2004. Shivaji Maharaj in the museum Along with the idols of Raj, there are historical moments, sea forts, and many other historical things. There are also statues of the great Maratha hero Shivaji Maharaj at this place. The Ancient Konkan Museum also has a Nakshatra Garden, a collection of trees representing each zodiac sign. The trees of the museum are home to various birds in that area. The museum entry fee with a guide is Rs. 40 per person.

Malgund
Home of famous Marathi poet, Kavi Keshavsut, Malgund is a quaint little village in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The poet's house has now been converted into a hostel for students and is open to visitors. A memorial dedicated to the poet, built by the Marathi Sahitya Parishad, is also located in the village.

Cave beach
Guhagar Beach is one of the largest beaches with clear water and white sand. This beach is a famous picnic spot to spend quality and peaceful time with friends and family. Hedvi Ganesh Temple
The Hedvi Ganesh temple has a unique 3 feet high idol with ten arms. Hence, it is called 'Dasabhuja Ganapati' meaning 'Das' meaning ten, and 'Bhuja' meaning hands. During the Peshwa dynasty, this idol of the deity was made of white marble brought from Kashmir. The amazing black sand bay lies between the white beaches of Ganapatipule and Guhagar, about 3 km from the temple. This narrow rocky shore is unsuitable for swimming.

Jai Vinayak Temple
Jai Vinayak Mandir, also known as Jindal Ganapati, was built in 2003 by JSW Energy Limited of the Jindal Group. This temple was built to dedicate to the Hindu god Ganesha. The temple has pagoda-style architecture with three layers of roof representing the Buddhist style. Inside the temple, there is a fish pond and an idol of Mushik i.e. the vehicle of Lord Ganesha. There is a beautiful garden surrounding this temple which adds to the natural beauty of the place. The divine ambiance of this place of worship is further enhanced by the splendid illumination of the evening.

Chiplun
Chiplun is a small town far away from the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. The place is popular for its mangroves on the banks of the beautiful Vashishti River. The name is Chiplun means 'abode of Lord Parashurama', a name derived from its temples. This place is a must-visit during sunset or sunrise as the place offers spectacular views at that time. The fresh air at this place feels heavenly.
