Sharadiya Navratri is starting on 3 October 2024 and will conclude on 11 October on Navami Tithi. The festival of nine-day Navratri is the festival of worship of Goddess Durga. It is believed that during the freedom struggle, when an Englishman passed by the temple of the mother, the revolutionary Bandhu Singh cut her head and dedicated her to the Goddess.
