Lambi Dehar Mine
These mines are located near the hill station Mussoorie. At present there is no work here. The place is very beautiful and sometimes people come here to take photographs. But this beautiful place is also haunted. In the 1990s, workers working here started falling ill. Gradually it increased and about 50 thousand people started falling ill and dying. The doctor who had conducted the post-mortem of this woman's body also died suddenly. A person who had painted this woman also died. These three murders are mysterious to date. It is said that the spirit of Bri Tiksh Mahyala wanders in the hotel room every night and searches for her beloved. This hotel was bought and sold many times but its wretchedness ruined everyone.
Lohaghat-Mukti Kothari
Lohaghat, located in the Champawat district of Uttarakhand, is one of the most haunted places in India. Abhay Bungalow situated on Abbott Hill is known as the most haunted place in Uttarakhand. People living around here have heard many scary sounds, in fact, people are afraid to even go near the bungalow. In the early days, this bungalow used to belong to a British family, who sold it to build a hospital. The hospital became quite famous, but a doctor started predicting people's deaths. But the reality was that to prove his predictions correct, the doctor used to take innocent patients to a room named 'Mukti Kothari' and murder them. It is said that those patients are still roaming around the bungalow as ghosts.
Mullingar Mansion
Mullingar Haveli was built by Captain Young, the British military officer who settled Mussoorie. He lived in it. It is said that Young loved his mansion very much. But when he was asked to leave India. So Captain Young during this time went to his mansion and then disappeared. No one knows where he went. People say that the spirit of the Captain still roams in the mansion. Many people even claimed to have seen the ghost of Captain Young in the mansion.
Swala Village
There is Swala village in Champawat district of Uttarakhand which is called a haunted village. Local people say that in 1952, a PAC battalion vehicle was found in a ditch near Swala village. The soldiers trapped inside the vehicle kept calling the people of the village for help, but the people did not help them. Instead of helping, the villagers looted their belongings and ran away. The soldiers died in agony in the vehicle itself. It is said that the spirits of the soldiers created such havoc in this village that the people of the village had to leave the village and run away.
People believe that even today their spirits roam in this village, due to which no one lives in this village. This village is empty.
