This famous temple is established in Connaught Place, Delhi. A huge crowd of devotees is seen here on Tuesday and Saturday. It is believed that the Pandavas had established this temple to achieve victory in the Mahabharata war and the further construction of the temple was done by Maharaja Mansingh I. Due to the ancient Hanuman temple being in Connaught Place, many tourists along with devotees come here.
Hanuman ji of Marghat
Hanuman ji of Marghat established in Kashmiri Gate of Delhi is also highly revered. The idol of Bajrang Bali in this temple is about 7 to 8 feet below the ground. Long ago this temple used to be on the banks of river Yamuna. But as the water level of Yamuna river started decreasing, this temple moved away from the river. This temple is right next to Jhandewale metro station of Delhi. You can easily go here by metro.
