Botanical Garden Adventure

Located on the lower slopes of Doddabetta Peak, this garden is spread over an area of ​​about 22 acres, where an array of beautiful flowers and trees will welcome you. The structure of this garden is terraced, where the mind becomes thrilled after seeing various types of plants, herbs, bushes and bonsai plants arranged neatly. Apart from this garden, Rose Garden and Thread Garden are also the main attractions here.

The varieties of roses in the Rose Garden spread over about ten acres will surprise you. There are more than two hundred varieties of roses here, which surprise anyone. Viewing Ooty from Doddabetta Peak

Doddabetta, the highest peak of Tamil Nadu, juggling with the clouds above the Nilgiris, is where trekking can be experienced. From here, tourists can enjoy lush green picturesque views in clear weather. This peak is full of dense herbs, bushes and eucalyptus plants. A telescope house has been built on the mountaintop here by the Tourism Department.

If you wish, you can visit Doddabetta Tea Factory and Museum. A small entry fee here allows tourists to see the entire operation of a tea factory from 'picking' the tea leaves to final packaging. Since this tea factory is situated at a height, panoramic views of the valley and its surrounding mountain peaks can be seen.
