We explored Junnar, a beautiful district of Pune, on behalf of Maharashtra Tourism. During this time we also learned about ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharaj and historical facts related to him. Getting a chance to come face to face with the history of Shivneri Fort on the occasion of the 394th birth anniversary of ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharaj is special in itself. At the same time, for the HindaviSwarajyaMahotsav, we stayed in a tent house in Junnar for about one and a half days, where we got a chance to do all the sports activities happening in Shivneri.
Exciting activities like jet skiing, water skiing, rafting and water zorbing can also be enjoyed in Junnar. If you want to do something different and memorable in your life, then these activities will not disappoint you. The boat ride will make the journey memorable
You can enjoy a boat ride in Vadaj Dam. You will enjoy this journey. Please note that only 6 people can ride the boat at a time. However, it also depends on how big the boat is. Since the boat was big, we rode with 8 people together.
In this ride we explored Vadaj Dam, it was a lot of fun. Let us tell you that a boat ride is one of the adventure activities, but if you are afraid of water, then avoid doing a boat ride.
Will have fun on a jet ski
The highest demand in Junnar is for water sports jet skis. Here you can plan to hang out with your friends. If you are not afraid of water, then this ride is perfect for you. You can enjoy jet skiing around Vadaj Dam and Shivneri Fort.
We enjoyed this ride on Vadaj Dam near Tent City. In this ride, you can enjoy beautiful views amidst water at a speed of 15-20 miles per hour. Also, you can go on this ride not alone but with many people.

Our team enjoyed the zipline near Shivneri Fort on behalf of the Maharashtra Tourism Department. Believe me, we had a lot of fun doing this. If you also want to do this zipline, then definitely explore Shivneri Fort. Admiring the beauty of the forest with the help of the zipline will fill you with a thrill.
This is an experience that many people have not experienced yet. Although you might have done zip lining many times, here you can enjoy zipline for just Rs 200.
Have fun with the ATV bike ride
Near Shivneri Fort you can ride a zip line as well as an ATV bike. To ride an ATV bike you will have to take a ticket of Rs 200. For this fee you can ride the bike for 10 minutes. Whereas, if you want to ride for 20 minutes, you will have to pay an extra charge for it.
Apart from this, you can also enjoy rides like zip cycling, parasailing, Ringo riding and speed boating in Junnar. Here you can do many adventure activities with your friends.
