If you are planning a trip to Lucknow, then you must visit this temple to have darshan of Mata. This is a temple whose history is said to be 250 years old. The biggest speciality of this temple is that its doors are never closed.
It is believed that whenever an attempt was made to close the doors of the temple, sometimes the curtain caught fire and sometimes the door broke and fell. Therefore this temple is always open. Mata Rani keeps showering her blessings on the devotees here 24 hours a day. It is believed that whoever prays with a true heart in this temple, the Mother Goddess fulfils all his wishes.
Bhuiyan Devi Temple
Sankata Mata is also seated on the right hand of Iyan Devi Maa. Both the mothers are worshipped together in the temple. People come from far and wide to visit the temple here. Also, Bhandara is organized for the devotees in the temple on Tuesdays.
No one knows about the history of the idol installed in the temple. No one knows where this idol came from. The priest serving Mata believes that his ancestor had seen the idol of Mata in the forest. After this, he started decorating the idol and worshipping it.
Mother fulfils every wish
Devotees coming here tie a bell to make a wish. When the vow is fulfilled, he opens this bell. A fair is held here every day during Navratri.

If you are planning to go here, then you can come by private vehicle or auto. Apart from this, you can also reach here by Lucknow Metro. Bhoothnath station is the nearest station to the temple. This temple is situated in Indira Nagar near Shekhar Hospital. This temple comes under Ghazipur police station.
