National Tourism Day: Ranking temple, Jaduguda, Narsinghgarh, Chitreshwardham, Vibhuti Bhushan's house, and five Pandava sites are being developed at five places in Jamshedpur district with an expenditure of one crore rupees. Apart from Dharagiri Falls of Ghatshila, 23 very beautiful places have also been selected.

Jamshedpur: State governments have so far failed to capitalize on the potential of tourism in the district. Kolhan is full of natural beauty like a forest, mountain, cave, waterfall, lake, etc., which attracts tourists very much, but the irony is that there is no such effort at the government level that tourists can travel safely with their families. However, now the Jharkhand Tourism Department is beautifying five places in the district with an expenditure of one crore rupees to promote tourism. Under this, Rankini Temple, Jaduguda, Narsinghgarh, Chitreshwardham, Vibhuti Bhushan's house, and five Pandava sites are being developed. Apart from the Dharagiri waterfall of Ghatshila, 23 such places have been selected in the district, which is very beautiful from the point of view of tourism.

Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary center of attraction

Jubilee Park and Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary have been recognized as A-category tourist destinations in East Singhbhum district. Apart from this, the valleys of Dalma have always been liked by tourists. To attract tourists here, the Forest Department is continuously increasing the facilities. Dalma, an elephant reserve, is full of tourists throughout the year. Apart from elephants, bears, monkeys, red squirrels, wild fowl, jackals, and deer, hundreds of types of animals, birds, and herb plants are found in Dalma.

This sanctuary is spread over an area of 193 sq km. Its height is 3000 feet, from where Jamshedpur looks like a twinkling star at night. DFO Dr. Abhishek Kumar says that many works are being done to promote eco-tourism in Dalma. The distance from Jamshedpur to Dalma is 31 km.

Paharbhanga

It is situated near Narva mountain. It is such a beautiful place that once you reach here, you will not feel like coming back. Away from urban life, this place remains the center of attraction for people seeking complete peace, clean air, clear water, and greenery all around. Its distance from Jamshedpur is 24 km.

Do-Muhani

The place where the Subarnarekha and Kharkai rivers meet in Sonari is known as Domuhani. At present, construction work is going on here for Ganga Aarti.

Chhotabanki Dam

This dam is surrounded by hills on three sides. The peace and greenery of this place look very captivating. This dam, hidden in the middle of Dalma hill, remains a center of attraction among tourists. Its distance from Jamshedpur is 20 km.

Jubilee Park

Dimna Lake

Satnala Dam

A wonderful combination of natural and panoramic views is seen here. This dam surrounded by hills has recently been opened for the general public. It is one of the most attractive places in Jamshedpur. It is a beautiful place to spend some moments with your family and friends. The distance of this place from Jamshedpur is 10 km.

Chandil Dam

The Chandil Dam is built on the Subarnarekha River. People come here for picnics throughout the year, in which there are tourists from other states as well. Tourists also enjoy boating here. Surrounded by hills on all sides, this dam completely encompasses the natural environment inside itself. Its distance from Jamshedpur is 36 km.

Burudih Dam

Burudih artificial lake surrounded by dense forests and hills is a center of attraction for tourists. The hill around Burudih Lake is very ancient. Its lower hills are densely forested, which is a corridor of elephants to the Medinipur and Dalma ranges in West Bengal. This place is at a distance of five km from Ghatshila.

Saranda
