MEMU Trains
MEMU trains refer to mainline electric multiple units. This train has many special features and advanced technology. These trains are used to travel distances of more than 200 kilometers.
DEMU Trains
DEMU trains refer to diesel electrical multiple units. Trains that run for short distances. They are called DEMU trains. In DEMU trains, a power coach is installed after every three coaches.
For this reason, these trains are called energy-efficient trains. There are three categories of DEMU trains. These include Diesel Electric DEMU, Diesel Hydraulic DEMU, and Diesel Mechanical DEMU trains.
