Let us tell you that during the third battle of Panipat, there was a very big mango tree here. Therefore this place was named Kala Amb. After the war, soldiers come here to rest. Here tired soldiers with flowing blood used to come to this place and get themselves treated. Therefore, the soil of this area has turned red because of the blood of the soldiers.

The mango tree turned black

It is believed that so much blood was shed by the soldiers in this war, due to which the mango trees were also affected. Due to the blood of the soldiers, the tree turned black with time, since then this place came to be known as Kala Amb.

Bloody mango

The interesting thing about this place is that when you cut the mango from this tree, the juice that comes out of it is like red blood.

Black amber tree status

It is believed that after some time this tree dried up and was purchased by poet PanditSugan Chand Rais. By cutting this tree, he made beautiful doors out of wood.

Where is the black amber tree

You can see doors made of wood in the Panipat Museum. Also, at the site of this tree, a memorial has been built in memory of the Marathas who died in the war.
