With India becoming independent in the year 1947, many things were divided. At that time, it was not right in any way for the country to be divided and many things to be lost. Altit Fort
Altit is a famous fort of Pakistan, located in Altit city of Hunza Valley in GilgitBaltistan. This fort is about 900 years old and was once a part of India.
It is said that this fort belonged to the kings of Hunza State, who were also known as Mirs. At one time this fort was found in a dilapidated condition, which was later taken over by the Aga Khan Trust.
Rohtas Fort
The name of Rohtal, the famous fort of Pakistan is also included. This fort was constructed between 1541 AD and 1548 AD. Its architecture looks like a Muslim mosque.
It is said that this fort was built by Sher Shah Suri, in which about 12 doors have been built. At one time this fort was the pride of the Mughals, but after partition, it became a part of Pakistan.
Royal Fort
This famous fort is located in Lahore, Pakistan. It was constructed during the Mughal era. It is said that it was built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in the year 1560. If we talk about the structure of this fort, it is approximately 1400 feet long and 1115 feet wide.
It is so beautiful that you will want to explore it again and again. But to see this fort you will have to go to Pakistan, because, at the time of partition, this fort went to Punjab, a part of Pakistan.
Ranikot Fort
Ranikot also became a part of Pakistan after partition, which is also known as the Wall of Sindh. This fort is not only ancient but also beautiful. This fort is spread over 32 kilometres, and is said to be the largest fort in the world.
Its architecture is built in the old style, which was built by the kings of Sindh. The ramparts of this fort have been compared to the Great Wall of China.
