It is common for floods and landslides to occur at hill stations due to heavy rains in the monsoon. Currently, Amarnath and Char Dham Yatra are going on, in which thousands of devotees are reaching for darshan. However, due to continuous rain in the mountains, the situation is getting worse in the hilly places.

Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath Dham are under the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand, where the roads are getting obstructed due to heavy rains. Devotees are facing problems due to the gate system at various places on the Yamunotri to Gangotri highway. Many routes are closed, while incidents of landslides are being seen in some places. There is a jam situation in some places, due to which the devotees are stranded.

Apart from this, on Saturday evening, the Meteorological Department issued a heavy rain alert, given which the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand was postponed for Sunday and Monday. According to the report, the pilgrims were also instructed not to go towards the temples and stay where they were.

In such a situation, if you or your acquaintances get stuck, that is, if the pilgrims get stuck on the way due to bad weather or landslides during the Chardham Yatra, then do not panic. To avoid such a situation, keep some things in mind.
