Raneh Falls

If you want to see a wonderful view of nature, you cannot find a better place than this. This waterfall is located at a distance of 20 km from Khajuraho. Because very few people know about this place. The most special thing about this place is that this waterfall is situated in the middle of a valley made of red, pink and brown crystalline granite. The water coming out of this waterfall is called Raneh Waterfall.

Time- If you go to visit here, keep in mind the time. It is allowed to go here only from 8 am to 5 pm.

Entry Fee- Rs 15 is the entry fee here.

Benisagar Dam

If you think that there is nothing in Khajuraho except temples, then you are wrong. Because there are many places in Khajuraho, which are known for their beauty. BeniSagar Dam is also known for its beauty. The magnificent dam is built on the Khuddar River.

People go here for a picnic. Therefore, if you are bored after visiting the temple, then you should plan a picnic with the family at BeniSagar Dam. The peaceful atmosphere here will charm you.

Timings- This place is open from 6 am to 8 pm.

Entry Fee – There is no entry fee to visit here.

Khajuraho Light and Sound Show

If you are planning to visit the temple from morning till evening, then apart from this you can go to see the light and sound show. If you have gone to Khajuraho, then you should not miss watching this show. Because after seeing this, you will feel as if visiting Khajuraho was successful for you.

This light show is set on the outer grounds of the temples. Keep in mind that you can see it only after sunset. From this show, you will learn why the temple was named Khajuraho and how the Chandela rulers started its construction.

Along with this, you will be able to know many other important information about the construction of the temple from this show. You will be able to watch the show under the open sky, which will be a different feeling.

Timings- From October to February, the light show timings are from 6.30 pm to 7.25 pm.

From March to September, the light show timings are 7.30 pm to 8.25 pm.

Entry fee- Rs 250 per person.
