Suryakumar Yadav played a match-winning knock vs NZ Suryakumar Yadav played a crucial inning on a difficult pitch in Lucknow to help the Indian team win against New Zealand in the second T20 International match. Surya had a fun chat with Yuzvendra Chahal in the post-match episode of Chahal TV.

The Indian team registered a 6-wicket win in Lucknow on Sunday to level the three-match T20 International series 1-1 against New Zealand. Suryakumar Yadav played an important role in helping India win by playing an unbeaten 26 off 31 balls on a difficult pitch in Lucknow.

Yadav shared an unbeaten 32-run partnership for the fifth wicket with captain Hardik Pandya to give India a 6-wicket win with one ball to spare. The Indian batsman interacted with Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav after the match and jokingly asked his mentor - Yuzvendra Chahal - to teach him more batting styles in the T20 International format.

BCCI uploaded a video, in which Yuzvendra Chahal asked Suryakumar Yadav, 'Our Mr. 360 batted very softly today. We saw him very calm at the crease. Today we got to see him in another avatar. I have been watching you play for the last 11-12 years and normally you score 70 runs in 30 balls. What was your mindset today?' Surya replied that his mindset was very clear and he knew that if the wicket is difficult then one has to take the game deep.

Suryakumar Yadav said, 'I had faith in myself that if I take the match to the depth then I can win the match for the team. After the dismissal of Washington Sundar, I spoke to Hardik Pandya and said that we will take the match deep. Chahal's next question left everyone tickling when he asked Suryakumar Yadav to watch his Ranji Trophy videos to prepare for this match.

Chahal asked, 'I taught you to play 370 degrees, but it was a very difficult wicket. Have you seen my Ranji Trophy videos? Surya could not stop laughing after hearing this question. The 32-year-old batsman said, 'Actually the thing in my mind was what you taught me in the last series. I would like you to teach me more about batting and how I can improve. Viewers, please listen to this carefully, don't take it as a joke. Our brother is the batting coach here. He has taught me everything.

The third and final T20 International match will be played between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Both teams are currently tied at 1-1 in the series. It will be decided in Ahmedabad which team will go to the series.
