Former Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting has made a very important comment on Rohit Sharma's outlook towards the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023.
The Indian cricket team under the leadership of Rohit Sharma has made a great start to the tournament. So far, the Men in Blue have registered three consecutive wins over Australia, Afghanistan, and arch-rivals Pakistan, taking them to the No. 1 spot in the Cricket World Cup (CWC) standings.

Talking about the Indian captain, Ponting told the ICC, "He is very calm. He is calm in whatever he does."
Ponting further said, "You can see it in the way he plays. He is quite an iconic batsman and he performs the same on and off the field."
Ponting also speaks about the pressure the team faces during the current tournament. However, he still believes that Rohit has the ability to handle pressure.
