Shammi de Silva became the new ACC Chairman
After which Sri Lanka Cricket Board President Shammi de Silva has been made the new Chairman of Asian Cricket Council. Shammi has got the opportunity to take over this responsibility after Jay Shah. Jay Shah can complete his term as ICC President three times in a row. The tenure of ICC Chairman is two years, after which he is selected on the basis of election. After being made the Chairman of ACC, Shammi de Silva said that he is very happy after getting this responsibility.
He also gave a statement in which he said that it is a matter of great pride for me to lead the ACC.
