The schedule of the World Cup to be held in India in October-November this year has been released. The matches were officially announced at a function in Mumbai on Tuesday (June 27). The Indian team will play its first match in the World Cup on October 8 in Australia. This match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. At the same time, India will have a great match against Pakistan in the group round on October 15. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The competition will be held in 10 cities in India
World Cup matches will be played in 10 cities in India. There are matches in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamshala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata. Apart from Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram will host warm-up matches from September 29 to October 3.
10 teams will play in the tournament
A total of 10 teams will participate in this World Cup. Eight teams have already qualified for the tournament and the remaining two places are being played in Zimbabwe with a qualifier round, with six teams making it to the Super Sixes. Two of these teams will participate in the main round of the World Cup to be held in India.
World Cup will be held in round robin format
In this World Cup, all the teams will play in a round-robin format along with the other nine teams. Out of these, the top four teams in the points table will qualify for the semi-finals and the winning teams will compete in the finals. Last time the World Cup was organized in England in the same format. Then the English team defeated New Zealand in the final.
