Vishal Mane is a popular name in the Kabaddi circles of Maharashtra. Born on September 21, 1985, Vishal started playing Kabaddi seriously to get admission in a good college.

Vishal Mane's school education Shirodkar High School and graduated from MD College, Mumbai. Vishal Mane's wife Priyanka Zende is also a kabaddi player. They met during a college sports competition.

Vishal had been playing kabaddi since his school days. But he never considered pursuing a career in kabaddi. Later in college, the opportunity to play kabaddi with Shivchhatrapati and Arjuna Award winners became a turning point in Vishal's life.

Vishal represented Haryana in the first national competition in 2004 at the age of 19. At that time, the team included BC Ramesh and other veteran players.

Vishal got a job in Central Railway on the strength of his energetic performance in a short span of time. He later played a pivotal role in helping Indian Railways win a gold medal in the national competition in 2008. The team consisted of veterans like Manjeet Chillar, Rakesh Kumar, Sanjeev Balian.

Vishal Mane, a right-back defender, started his pro kabaddi league career in Mumbai. He also had a lion's share of the U-Mumbai title in the second season of the tournament. So far, U is the only player to play in the top 5 finals in the history of Pro Kabaddi, played by Mumbai Warriors, Bangalore Warriors, Patna Pirates and Dabangg Delhi.

Although Vishal did not score much in his pro kabaddi career, his presence on any team was a guide and inspiration for other players. However, this is the first time that Vishal has been ruled out of the tournament as no team has bid for him.
