Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently expressed his admiration for Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli during an interactive session called Ask SRK on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Currently, Kohli is in Rajkot and is actively participating in the third and last match of the series against Australia. After taking a short break from cricket, he could not play the first two ODIs. As the showpiece tournament, the ODI World Cup is set to begin on October 5, there are high expectations from Kohli to shine with his batting skills and bring the trophy back to India.
During the Ask SRK session, a fan talked about the ongoing fan war post between Shah Rukh and Kohli, leading to the Bollywood star sharing his thoughts on the cricketer. In response, Shahrukh affectionately called Kohli his "son-in-law".
"I love @imVkohli, he is like my own and I always pray for his well-being...like a brother son in law!!!" Shahrukh replied.
Everyone knows about Shahrukh's admiration for Kohli, as these two superstars are often seen together during the Indian Premier League. Whenever Shahrukh's team, Kolkata Knight Riders, competes against Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore, they are constantly seen meeting and interacting with each other.
Their friendship reached new heights when they were seen dancing to the tune of "Jhoome Jo Pathan" after KKR's triumphant win over RCB in the IPL 2023 at the Eden Gardens in April.
