Virender Sehwag has scored a lot against Pakistan, his triple century in the Multan Test, but he still holds many records in his name. Sehwag narrated a special anecdote about this innings and also spoke on the rivalry between India and Pakistan. The Asia Cup 2022 match between India and Pakistan is to be played on August 28 and cricket fans around the world are eagerly waiting for it.

Before India vs Pakistan match in Asia Cup 2022, Sehwag said on Star Sports, 'My favorite memory of India vs Pakistan match is Multan's 309-run knock. No one expected a batsman like Sehwag to score a triple century. When I used to play, people used to write in the media that Sehwag is not a Test player and cannot play big innings. The best part about that innings was that I had not scored runs in the four innings against Pakistan before that.

Sehwag further said, 'I was feeling that if I do not score now then I will be dropped from the team. So I thought that I have to convert 30-40 runs into big innings. Sehwag further said, 'I was afraid of the new ball because both Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Sami used to bowl very fast. Akhtar used to throw the ball at a speed of about 155 and Sami around 145 kmph. Once both of them completed their spell, things became easy for me. When Abdul Razzaq and Shabbir Ahmed came to bowl, I felt the spinners bowling the ball.
