Many players played for India under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, but some did not get a chance. Dhoni changed the lives of many players of India and played a big role in realizing the dreams of many players to play for the Indian team, but now a cricketer has made a big allegation against Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Even as the captain of Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni had identified many players who got an opportunity to play for the country.

Many players like Mohit Sharma, Murali Vijay, S Badrinath, and R Ashwin who played for CSK played for India. However, there were some players who did well for Chennai Super Kings but could not make it to the Indian team. One of them is fast bowler Ishwar Pandey, who has alleged that if MS Dhoni had given him a chance, he could have done well for the country.

33-year-old Ishwar Pandey, who announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Monday, took 18 wickets in 25 IPL matches and 263 wickets in 75 first-class matches. On the basis of this, he got a place on the Test team on the tour of New Zealand in 2014.MS Dhoni was the captain of the team at that time, but Ishwar Pandey did not get a chance. To this, Pandey revealed that if Dhoni had shown a little more faith in him and probably given him some chances, his career would have been different.

Ishwar Pandey said in an interview with Dainik Jagran, "If Dhoni had given me a chance, my career would have been different. Then I was 23-24 years old and my fitness was also very good. If Dhoni Bhai had given me a chance and If I had done well for the country, my career would definitely have been different."The Madhya Pradesh-born player has played IPL for Rising Pune Supergiants apart from Chennai Super Kings. He has been a major part of Madhya Pradesh's bowling unit in first-class cricket for a long time.

Ishwar Pandey wrote in his retirement post, "I was not lucky enough to play even a single match for my country but still being a part of the Indian team will always be the most special memory of my life. I would like to choose RPSG and I want to thank CSK. It was special to be part of the CSK team and play in the IPL final and win the Champions League. I really enjoyed my time playing for CSK for 2 years under the guidance of MS Dhoni and Stephen Fleming."
