As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the Indian government has awarded the following eight Indian cricketers with some of the highest civilian honors in the country:

Sachin Tendulkar - Bharat Ratna: Sachin Tendulkar, widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, received the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in 2014. He is the first and only cricketer to be bestowed with this honor.

Virat Kohli - Padma Shri: Virat Kohli, the current captain of the Indian cricket team, was honored with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India, in 2017, recognizing his significant achievements in cricket.

Anil Kumble - Padma Shri: Anil Kumble, former Indian cricketer and one of the highest wicket-takers in Test cricket, was awarded the Padma Shri in 2005 for his exceptional contributions to the sport.
