On Wednesday, the BCCI announced the Indian team for the Ireland tour. Hardik Pandya will captain Team India on the Ireland tour. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the vice-captain. Many young players have got a place in Team India for the Ireland tour. But there are three players who deserved to be selected for the team. But the selectors did injustice to him.
Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar Dhawan is India's experienced T20 batsman and his performance in IPL 2022 has also been very good. Shikhar Dhawan scored 460 runs in 14 matches in IPL 2022. His best score was an unbeaten 88. Dhawan must have got a chance in Team India for the Ireland tour. But the selectors did not give him a place on the team.
Rahul Teotia
Rahul Teotia is a young batsman, who made a lot of noise in IPL 2022. He scored 217 runs in 16 matches for Gujarat Titans and on many occasions single-handedly led his team to victory.
