The condition of Sourav Ganguly is stable, he was admitted to the hospital three days ago as a precaution after a corona infection. Dr. Rupali Basu, MD, and CEO, Woodlands Hospital said in a statement, "The condition of BCCI President and former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly is stable on the third day of his hospitalization. His blood pressure and heart rate are stable and oxygen flow in the body is also normal.

He said, 'Ganguly had a good sleep on Wednesday night. He also had breakfast in the morning and later lunch. The medical board is monitoring his condition.' Ganguly had to be hospitalized twice earlier this year when he underwent emergency angioplasty. Doctors at the hospital said that Ganguly's sample is being tested for the Omicron variant.
