The International Cricket Council (ICC) will soon announce the schedule of venues for the 2022 Twenty20 World Cup in Australia. The ICC has announced that the schedule for the T20 World Cup will be announced on January 21.
Tickets for the tournament will go on sale from February 7.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will be played in Australia from 16 October to 13 November 2022. A total of 45 matches will be played in seven Australian cities. The matches will be played in Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
The final will be played on November 13 in Melbourne. The semi-finals will be played on November 9 and 10 at Sydney Cricket Ground and Adelaide. Meanwhile, last year's ICC T20 World Cup was held in the UAE.
The tournament was organized by India. But after the second wave of Corona, other matches were held in the UAE. Australia won the T20 World Cup for the first time in this tournament. So now it will be a big challenge for the Kangaroos to retain the title at home.
