Suryakumar Yadav, the star batsman of the record 5-time champion team Mumbai Indians team, is ready to start in the 15th season of IPL. After recovering from his finger injury, Suryakumar joined the Mumbai Indians team on Thursday ahead of the match against Rajasthan Royals (MI vs RR). The Mumbai team gave this information while sharing the picture of Suryakumar. Suryakumar has completed the isolation and after joining the team, he also participated in the training session.

Suryakumar Yadav suffered a finger injury during the home series against West Indies last month. Due to this, he had to go to the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He was going through the phase of rehabilitation. Due to this, Mumbai Indians could not even play in the opening IPL match of the season against Delhi Capitals on 27 March. Now Mumbai has to play a match against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, April 2, which will be held at DY Patil Stadium.

According to the statement issued from the franchise, 'Suryakumar Yadav has come out of his mandatory isolation. He took part in the training session with his teammates Kieron Pollard, Ishan Kishan, and Jasprit Bumrah. The team is excited by his presence.

Delhi defeated Mumbai by 4 wickets on 27 March. The team failed to defend the score of 178 runs. Delhi won the match in 18.2 overs based on an unbroken 75-run partnership for the 7th wicket between Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav.
