Once again Ambati Rayudu took a U-turn

Deleted tweet after announcing retirement

CSK's star player will not retire

Chennai Super Kings middle-order batsman Ambati Rayudu on Saturday announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League (IPL).

This sudden decision came as a big shock to Ambati's fans. Some even started posting about his career and the memories attached to it, but Rayudu later deleted his tweet. "Rayudu is not currently retiring from the IPL," CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanath said.

"I am happy to announce that this IPL will be my final season," wrote Ambati Rayudu. I've been with 2 great teams for the last 13 years. Thanks to Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings for this wonderful journey. He later deleted the tweet. Rayudu has not yet commented on the matter, but the Chennai team CEO said the cricketer was disappointed with the team's poor performance.

"I have spoken to him and he is not retiring," Kashi told Vishwanath. He is disappointed with his performance and that is why he tweeted like this, however, now he has deleted it. It is certain that these games will continue even after this season.

This is not the first time Rayudu has announced his sudden retirement. He also spoke of retiring when he was not part of the squad for the 2019 ODI World Cup. But later he turned around and came back to play in the IPL.
