Cricket is not just a game, it is an emotion, especially in India where it is considered no less than a festival. There have been many players in India who have made their mark all over the world. Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma etc. have been famous players. Those who have been given good positions in the department by the government, talking about recently, Mohammad Siraj has received an important honor from the Telangana government for his outstanding contribution to international cricket. After the T20 World Cup, the government fulfilled its promise to reward the cricketer and appointed him to a prestigious post in the police department.

The Telangana government promised to give land and a government job to Siraj after his brilliant performance and now he has been appointed to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).

Siraj accepted the role of DSP on Friday, reaffirming his commitment to this new responsibility while continuing to represent Team India on the field.

Siraj will receive a monthly salary in line with the DSP pay scale, which ranges from ₹58,000 to ₹1,37,050. Additionally, he will be entitled to various allowances including housing, medical and travel benefits, which will further enhance his compensation package.

It is being speculated that Siraj might be posted in Hyderabad, giving him a chance to effectively balance his dual commitments to cricket and his new role.
