The 7th T20 season of this CCL 2023 tournament started on 18 February. This tournament is being organized in Raipur. More than one exciting match is being seen in this tournament. Sonu Sood hit a six in Dhoni's style
The fourth match of Celebrity Cricket League 2023 went to Raipur on February 19 between Captain Sonu Sood's Punjab De Sher and Bhojpuri Dabangs led by Manoj Tiwari. A video of Punjab De Sher's captain Sonu Sood of this match is going viral.
Sonu Sood is seen batting aggressively. He played a dashing shot during his innings. This shot of his went towards the boundary at the speed of the bullet. Because of this, even the fielder posted on the log-off could not stop this shot and the ball went outside the boundary line. Later the fielder was seen moaning in pain. This shot of Sonu Sood is being compared to Dhoni's helicopter shot.
Although Sonu Sood could not save his team from defeat. Bhojpuri Dabangs reduced the team of Punjab De Sher to 25 runs. Bhojpuri team batsman Aditya Ojha was awarded the man of the match award for his brilliant batting.
This tournament has eight teams from 8 Indian cinema industries who will fight it out to win the 2023 edition of CCL 2023. The league was started in the year 2011 and it aims to bring together the top stars and actors of Indian cinema on the cricket field. A total of 19 matches will be played during the tournament and the grand finale will be played on March 19.
