Second Indian to score 400 runs in seven consecutive seasons
Shikhar Dhawan scored more than 400 runs for the seventh time in a row on the strength of his impressive performance in the fifteenth season of the IPL. Suresh Raina and David Warner have been able to do this in IPL before him. Dhawan has managed to score 400 runs in IPL in seven consecutive seasons since 2016.

In this way, Dhawan has become the second Indian and third player to achieve this feat. Suresh Raina became the first player to do so, he did it for seven consecutive years between 2008 and 2014. At the same time, Warner, who was Dhawan's teammate in Hyderabad, was successful in doing so from 2013 to 2020. In the year 2021, Warner had to sit in the dugout for most of the time and he missed out on doing so for the eighth time in a row.
