Rohit Sharma's bat did not work in the first innings of the ICC Test Championship final. Indian captain Rohit was lbw by Australia captain Pat Cummins at the Oval.

Rohit could only score 15 runs off 26 balls, this is another embarrassing performance of his in the final of the ICC tournament. Rohit has not been able to score a single half-century in five innings of five finals of ICC tournaments.

Rohit scored an unbeaten 30 off 16 balls against Pakistan in the final of the 2007 T20 World Cup. In the Champions Trophy in 2013, Rohit scored 9 runs in 14 balls against England. He scored just 29 runs in 26 balls against Sri Lanka in the 2014 T20 World Cup.

He could not even open the account against Pakistan in the 2017 Champions Trophy final. Rohit has the second innings of the Test Championship final, in which he can improve his record.
