To select the players in the Indian cricket team, the post of a selector is to be recruited. The post of a selector is to be filled in the selection committee of BCCI.
The post was vacant after former cricketer Chetan Sharma resigned from the selection committee. Apart from the selector, the post of Academy Physio is also to be filled.
There are certain eligibility criteria for the candidates applying. The candidate should have played at least 7 Test matches and should have played 30 first-class matches. In addition, there is an option to have experience of 10 ODIs and 20 first-class matches.
It has been 5 years since the player applying has retired. This application process can be completed by 11 July 2023 by visiting bcci. tv/about/jobs.
