India did not start well in this match. First, Virat Kohli lost the toss. After that, the Indian team lost the wickets of both openers Rohit Sharma (0) and KL Rahul (3) within six runs. Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed for 11 by Hasan Ali. It took India 9 overs to score 50 runs. Rishabh Pant was dismissed by leg-spinner Shadab Khan. Pant scored 39 off 30 balls.

Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan and skipper Babar Azam gave Pakistan a one-sided victory. The two flashed half-centuries. Babar Azam scored 68 off 52 balls while Mohammad Rizwan scored 79 off 55 balls. Pakistan overcame India's 152-run target in 17.5 overs.
