Pakistan continued their impressive run in the Asia Cup 2023 with yet another spectacular win. The Pakistani team, captained by Babar Azam, defeated the Bangladesh team by 7 wickets in the first match of the Super Ka round. This match played in Lahore saw the power of Pakistan's fast bowlers, due to which Pakistan bundled Bangladesh out for just 193 runs. After this, on the basis of the excellent half-century innings of Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan achieved this target within 40 overs.

This was the last match of the tournament in Asia Cup 2023 hosts Pakistan and the Pakistani team continued their successful campaign by showing complete dominance at the Gaddafi Stadium. The way Pakistani fast bowlers did against Nepal and India, the same trend continued on Wednesday 6th September. Let us tell you that for the third consecutive match, Pakistan all outed the opposing team and its star was its fast bowler.

* Shakib-Mushfiqur stood firm, rest all limited

Bata de started in the second over itself when the centurion of the previous match Mehdi Hasan Meeraj was dismissed without opening his account on the ball of Naseem Shah. After this, Litton Das, who returned to the team after recovering from illness, also fell victim to Shaheen Shah Afridi after playing some good shots. After this, Mohammad Naeem and Tauheed Hridoy were completely bowled over by the pace of Haris Rauf and 4 wickets fell for 47 runs in 9 overs.

After this, the two most experienced batsmen of the team handled the innings from here. Captain Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim together stopped Pakistan's attack and brought back the team's 100-run partnership. Please tell that after completing his half-century, Shakib became the victim of Faheem Ashraf and from here the innings faltered again. Naseem and Haris quickly disposed of the lower order as Bangladesh were bundled out for 193 in just 38.4 overs.

* Pakistan had to struggle a bit to achieve the target:

Please tell that the fast bowlers of Bangladesh also made many starts and did not allow Pakistan to score freely. In the tenth over, Shoriful Islam achieved the first success by dismissing Fakhar Zaman. At that time Pakistan's score was only 35 runs. Captain Babar Azam shared a partnership with Imam-ul-Haq but he too could not last long and was bowled by Taskin Ahmed.

Despite this small score, Bangladesh had a chance to make a comeback, but Imam and Mohammad Rizwan took the lead here and mixed Bangladesh's hopes completely. There was an 85-run partnership between the two for the third wicket, which seemed to seal Pakistan's victory. Mehdi Hasan Meeraj only consoled the team by bowling Imam. While Mohammad Rizwan after completing his half-century, the team was able to reach the target. Pakistan also took 39.3 overs to reach the target.
