The England team is on a tour of Pakistan these days. The second Test will be played between the two teams from 9 December. Before this match, former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar suggested increasing the speed of England fast bowler Mark Wood. Shoaib has said that if he wants to reach 100 mph then start pulling trucks. In the 2003 World Cup match against England, Akhtar bowled one of the fastest deliveries in cricket history. He holds the record for 161.3 km/h ball.

Wood's speed was measured at 96 mph in the recent T20 World Cup in Australia. Akhtar said- “Mark Wood is a great-looking guy and a lovely person with beautiful action. That's what I love to see!" “I have seen some things. He loses his follow-through. Thank god they cut their run-up short. He lands on the left foot and you often see him fall down the pitch because he can't control the follow-through. If he is thinking that he cannot bowl more than 155, then he is absolutely wrong!

Shoaib said- If he wants to bowl at 100 mph, he will have to start pulling trucks. I made pitches of about 26 yards. I made a ball about four times heavier than normal. I trained with a lot of weights and rode my bike with weights. I noticed that I developed muscles that I had never been able to touch before.
