New Zealand batsman Devon Conway has made a flying start in the first Test of 2022. On the first day of the Test match, Conway set a new record by scoring a century.

This is the left-handed batsman's second Test century of his career. This is his first home century. He completed 258 for five in the first Test against New Zealand and Bangladesh.

He completed his 186-ball century in the Test against Bangladesh at Mount Maunganui. Conway has scored two centuries and two fifties in the 7th Test innings. He has scored 122 runs off 227 balls. Only four fours and sixes added 70 runs. Will Young and Conway won the toss and elected to field. The duo have put together a partnership of 138 runs.

Devon Conway made his international cricket debut in 2021 at the age of 29. He also scored his second century in the first Test. Conway has scored two centuries in four Tests. The first and second half centuries have resulted in 501 runs at an average of 83. He has scored 75 runs in ODIs and 50 runs in T20 Internationals.
