Along with this, he is also the President of Mumbai BJP unit. He has previously worked as a cricket administrator.

Playing the role as a cricket administrator since 2015

Ashidh Shelar was included as a member in the Mumbai Cricket Association in the year 2015, after which he never looked back and he made the journey to the President. After that he was made the President of Mumbai District Football Association, under which 350 football clubs of Mumbai came.

He did not stop here and on 12 January 2017 he was made the President of Mumbai Cricket Association. He is also the treasurer of BCCI. And now after the departure of Jay Shah, he can become the Secretary of BCCI.
