Shrikant Jadhav was born on September 17, 1995 in Dahigaon, Ahmednagar. Coming from a poor family, Srikanth loved kabaddi from an early age. Srikanth represented Maharashtra in the national competition when he was 10th.

His performance in the tournament gave Srikanth the opportunity to train at the Sports Authority of India in Mumbai. Srikanth received training from Indian Kabaddi veterans Pankaj Shirsat, Nitin Madane and Kashiling Adke.

Srikanth Jadhav's consistent performance at the national level caught the attention of teams in the Pro Kabaddi League. And from this he was included in the team of Jaipur Pink Panthers for the second season. Unfortunately, due to a shoulder injury, he did not get a chance to play a single match this season.

Despite the financial crisis, Srikanth's family operated on his shoulder to prepare him for the third season of the Pro Kabaddi League.

In the third season of Pro Kabaddi League, Bengal Warriors signed Srikanth for Rs 8 lakh. In the third and fourth seasons, Srikkanth got to play only 10 matches. Even so, the contract money saved Srikanth from financial crisis. This allowed him to play freely without any mental pressure.

Srikanth had made his mark on the Pro Kabaddi League by taking advantage of the limited opportunity he had. That is why in the fifth season, U Mumbai added Srikkanth to their squad. In the 5th season, Srikanth scored a total of 98 points, 86 in the climb and 12 in the defense. In the 6th season, Srikanth scored 141 points in 25 matches against UP Warriors.

Due to this performance, for the 7th season of Lilawat Srikanth, many teams had to fight. In the end, the UP warrior bet on him and signed him for Rs 68 lakh. For the 8th season, UP Warriors paid Rs 72 lakh to Srikanth and kept him in the team.
