Former South African veteran player and current batting coach JP Duminy has left the team. He was given this responsibility in March last year. JP Duminy has played a total of 326 international matches including Tests, ODIs and T20s, in which he has scored 9154 runs and taken 182 wickets.
Johannesburg: JP Duminy has resigned as the batting coach of South Africa's limited overs team, citing personal reasons. Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced this on Friday. Duminy took over as South Africa's batting coach in March last year. CSA said that he has left his post with immediate effect after mutual consent.

CSA said in a post on X, 'South African cricket legend JP Duminy has been a key member of the limited overs team's coaching staff since his appointment in March 2023. A batting coach will be appointed soon for the limited overs team in his place.'
Duminy's long career:
A left-handed batsman and part-time spin bowler, Duminy played 46 Tests, 199 ODIs and 81 T20 Internationals for South Africa in a career spanning 15 years between 2004 and 2019. In Test matches, Duminy has 2103 runs and 42 wickets. The player who scored 5117 ODI runs has also taken 69 wickets. In T20, Duminy has scored 11 half-centuries for South Africa.
For which team Duminy played in IPL: JP Duminy was a part of Deccan Chargers, Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He scored 2029 runs in 83 matches and hit 14 half-centuries in the world's most expensive T20 league from 2009 to 2018.
