The final match will now start at 8 pm instead of 7.30 pm. According to BCCI sources, the IPL final will start at 8 pm due to the 40-minute closing ceremony. This will be the first time since 2019 when BCCI is hosting a closing ceremony in the IPL.

Ranveer Singh will give a performance in the closing ceremony

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and music maestro AR Rahman will perform at the closing ceremony of the IPL. To celebrate 75 years of India's independence, BCCI will also present a show on the journey of Indian cricket over the last seven decades. A few weeks ago, BCCI invited tenders from event management companies for the closing ceremony.
