Indian pacer Deepak Chahar will soon tie the knot. He is going to marry his fiancé Jaya Bhardwaj on June 1. Their wedding card is going viral on social media. The right-arm fast bowler proposed Jaya during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match last year. Jaya hails from Delhi and works in a corporate firm.

Deepak Chahar's father Lokendra Singh later revealed that Deepak had wanted to propose girlfriend Jaya for a long time, but it was planned to do so during the playoff phase of IPL-2021. Chahar was bought by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the mega auction before the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL-2022) for a whopping price of 14 crores, but due to injury, he could not take the field.

The right-arm pacer was ruled out for the entire tournament this year as he had to move to the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bengaluru due to a back injury. Now Chahar's wedding card is going viral on social media. Deepak has also posted many pictures with Jaya on social media. Recently, his picture has also appeared on a magazine cover.

Deepak Chahar is likely to be out of the field for the next two months due to a back injury. However, Deepak Chahar had earlier said that he would come back stronger.
